Chance of Fate

Chance of Fate bags is a GM-sponsored event. Once in awhile, the Chance of Fate vendor will appear selling his or her Chance of Fate bags for 100,000 gold each. These bags, when opened, will do one or two of three things:

• You will be blown to kingdom come,
• You will find an empty bag.
• You will find a rare deco item or gold inside.

The Chance of Fate Vendor is often the only source of ultra-rare prizes, such as: dye any object a silk color, rename an object, the coveted fountain deed or special one-of-a-kind holdable items.

There is often a limit on the number that can be bought per account to give everyone a chance who wants one to get one but as the event draws to a close, the restriction is lifted.

The vendor is often announced on the Valhalla forums but the location is never revealed thus the only way to find one is by word-of-mouth.
