Terrible news! Alexandre D'Luke has been assassinated! All council members have been killed! Wait... only four council members were present at the time of the assassination. The fifth was away on official business!

Rock has an urgent task for you to perform... you must rush to Zarkesh Palace where the fifth council member was visiting and ensure her safety. One of Rock's top operatives, Myrscott, was dispatched before you came and it is your job to perform backup for him. Once you arrive at the Zarkesh Palace, you will have found the assassination has already taken place and a body lies in a heap in the corner. Is it the body of the final council member? Wait... the message on the wall is written in the blood of the deceased to find the secret underground room.

  • The secret room can be found in the tower on the east side of the Palace. You may have to head outside and into one of the towers to find it in the corner of the room.
  • There is an empty room here. Look around. There are a stack of books by the desk and a book on the table. Read both to find out if there are any clues. In one book, you will find a bloody note but it is impossible to read.

Part 2

Having found a blood-stained note, you must take the note to an alchemist who specializes in cleaning blood off parchment.

  • The only way to actually know to take it to the alchemist and where the alchemist is located is to go back to Rock and ask for help.

You can find Fenn at Manesteen in Lost Realms. She is a bit cranky so take care in what you ask of her. She will inform you on how to clean the note: you will need a brush, purified water and Puluke's Invisibility Potion.

  • The brush is bought at certain merchants.
  • The purified water is found on a boreal elemental found at Boreal Island in Lost Realms. It is a 30% drop rate.
  • Puluke's Invisibility Potion is made by an alchemist.

Once you have all these ingredients, return to Fenn and she will clean up the note.

Part 3

After the note is cleaned, you can read it. It says you must give the note to Nebrios deShadow. He can be found at the tent city west of Zarkesh (and south of the Zarkesh Pyramids). This starts a small RP scenario. Make sure you watch as vital clues are given where to go next. In his dying words, Myrscott tells you to go to the Rimstone Abbey graveyard and pay your respects to the five fallen council members.

Once you arrive at the Rimstone graveyard, check out the FIVE gravestones there. But that must surely be wrong as only four council members were killed! Perhaps if you dig up the fifth gravestone of the council member that is still alive, you will find something buried there.

  • You will need a shovel in your backpack. Use the gravestone to dig up the grave.

You will find a strongbox within the grave. Open it. Inside is a book with a jumbled prose that is hiding a cryptic message. This is important later. Also is a statue. Use the statue and it will transport you to the first dungeon. Remember that book on REBUS puzzles? Now is the time to put your REBUS solving to good use. You will have to go through each dungeon and find the item, read it, stand near it and answer the puzzle out loud.

  • Ctrl-Shift is your best friend here.
  • Each item is typically hanging on a wall.
  • If you cannot read what the item says, use .point or your magery skill on the item and you will see its name.

For those that cannot figure out the puzzle, highlight the section below to show the puzzle.

  • Orc Caves: Located in one of the western buildings, a striped sign: a friend in need
  • Pirate Underground Hideout: A portrait hanging on the wall of the large room: see eye to eye
  • Abandoned Town: A bear trophy hanging on a run-down building: see for yourself

Once you have solved the three puzzles, you are whisked away to a mysterious looking tower filled with extremely horrible denizens of the night. You will have to fight your way to the bottom of the tower to find the next piece of the puzzle: four statues of the old ruling council. Remember that strongbox you dug up from the council grave? It contained a cryptic note but it also holds the solution to the final puzzle. Look at the four statues. They all have names. First and last names. The note says to say, from left to right (west to east) the second, second, first, first name without any spaces.

  • To get back to the tower, go to Folkvang and continue north towards the bar. Go up the stairs passed the flowers and there are two teleporters to your right (east). Take the top one (north) and you will be at a cave. Take the other teleporter to your left (west) and you will be at a house. Go into the house, up the stairs to the left (south) room and there is a hidden teleporter behind the stairs.

You have find the last council member, Lady Melificent Morn! But it is not over yet. You must take her to meet Myrscott so he can escort her to safety. This is a treacherous journey and if you fail, you will have to return to the tower, say the solution to the puzzle and be transported back to her once again. When you are ready, tell her so and she will transport you to Bogmoor. She will follow you until she is close to her destination point.

  • Lady Morn won't go with you unless you tell her who sent you. Remember it was Myrscott.
  • Lady Morn will not move if there are hostiles too close to her.
  • If you are unable to heal her, have a second person help you do the escort.

Once you have reached her destination, Myrscott will arrive to greet you. But your arrival didn't go unnoticed. One of the Iron Viking Commanders, Apocoli has come to kill Lady Morn! You must keep Lady Morn alive and defeat this evil.

  • Myrscott can die but you must keep Lady Morn alive. If she dies, you will have to start over from the tower.
  • Apocoli will attempt to target Lady Morn so it is wise to keep his attention on you.
  • Apocoli will summon vikings to help him every so often. They will also try to target Lady Morn.

Once it is over, Myrscott will explain what had happened and why he was able to escape death. Return to Rock for a well-deserved rest.
