The Revenant studies the dark arts of Necromancy. High level Revenants can cast the spell from the spellbook holding any weapons. Only Revenants can cast from the spellbook although all classes can cast from the scrolls.

To become a Revenant, there are two paths you can take. If you are a new character, you must select Disciple when choosing a class from the character creation gate. If you are a Spellweaver or Crusader, you may defect to the Revenant side by going to the Revenant Trainer and telling them you wish to defect.

There is only one Revenant trainer in all the realms - located at Barra's Outpost on Nazireth. Although you can go to any merchant who trains Necromancy, only the Revenant Trainer sells the spellbook, scrolls and reagents.

The Revenant is considered to be a hardcore character. There are no special abilities and many tertiary skills as well as some trade skills will only go to 40 instead of 60.

  • The maximum base ar is determined from a base piece of armor with no additional bonuses.
  • Spells available refers to spells cast from a spellbook. All spells can be cast from scrolls.
  • Impaired skills are skills that will only go to 40 points.

Curse Weapon An Sanct Gra Char 7 0 Curses the caster's weapon with a duration based on the necromancy skill.
Blood Oath In Jux Mani Xen 13 20 Creates a blood oath between the caster and the target - any life lost by the caster is felt by the target as well.
Corpse Skin In Aglo Corp Ylem 11 20 Caster's skin transmogrifies to that of an undead while gaining a small bonus to cold and fire resistances.
Evil Omen Pas Tym An Sanct 11 20 An evil omen is placed on the target with one of three things happening: spell damaged, poisoned or cursed.
Pain Spike In Sar 5 20 Target continually loses health for a short duration.
Wraith Form Rel Xen Um 17 20 Transforms the caster into a wraith which causes others around to be poisoned and lose mana.
Mind Rot Wis An Ben 17 30 The target constantly expends mana.
Summon Familiar Kal Xen Bal 17 30 Summons a pet with a special ability that will last about an hour. Special pets include: horde demon (looter), shadow wisp (mana regeneration), dark wolf (tames other wolves), death adder (tames other snakes), and the vampire bat (damaging the bat heals you)
Animate Dead Uus Corp 23 40 Brings dead creatures back to life.
Horrific Beast Rel Xen Vas Bal 11 40 Transforms the caster in a ferocious beast with 400 strength but 2 intelligence.
Poison Strike In Vas Nox 17 50 Target and those around the target take poison damage.
Wither Kal Vas An Flam 23 60 Creates a ground frost around the caster's location which deals cold damage.
Strangle In Bal Nox 29 65 Target is cursed and takes poison damage for a limited duration.
Lich Form Rel Xen Corp Ort 23 70 Transforms the caster in a lich with increased mana regeneration but causes minor damage to the caster.
Exorcism Ort Corp Grav 40 80 All player ghosts in the Champion Spawn area are sent to a resurrection shrine. Note: This scroll will not go into the revenant spellbook.
Vengeful Spirit Kal Xen Bal Beh 41 80 Summons a Revenant to attack a chosen target.
Vampiric Embrace Rel Xen An Sanct 25 99 Transforms the caster into a powerful vampire.
