Elemental hammers add elemental damage to a weapon. The only way to obtain an elemental hammer is to complete tailoring, mining or blacksmithy bulk order deeds, complete a special quest by a questgiver or find it in a boss loot.

To infuse a weapon with elemental damage, you will also need a cold, fire, energy, physical or poison elemental gem found by harvesting or grinding ore or logs using the extractor (made by tinkers).

Each elemental hammer has 3 charges. Each weapon may have up to 8 elemental charges for a total bonus of 40% elemental damage. The chance of failure depends on the amount of charges on the weapon. For every charge that is on the weapon, you have a 5% chance of failure adding another charge.

You can not mix elemental damage on weapons. If you want to remove the elemental damage from a weapon, you must use a neutralizing oil.
