Powder Keg / Miner's Crate

The powder keg and miner's crate are similar items. Both are packed with gunpowder (made by the alchemist) to increase their explosive potential. They are used to blow up large chunks of mining areas for an explosion of ore. The can also be used in the world to create a large explosion, having anything caught within the explosion take large amounts of damage based on the amount of packed gunpowder. To use either item, you must have a lit torch in your backpack. Use the keg or crate, target the torch to light it and run away as fast as you can when it drops to the ground.

Powder Keg

• Created by carpenters.

• Focused blast, timer allowing you to run away.

• Able to blast higher levels of ore.

• Less chance to disturb potentially harmful monsters in the ground.

Miner's Crate

• Found by mining, comes prepacked with some gunpowder and ready to use.

• Wild blast, no timer and can explode anytime.

• Blasts lower levels of ore.

• Higher chance to disturb potentially harmful monsters in the ground.
