Fairy Tales Walk-through

Part 1

Go to Rimstone Abbey and to the top floor to the Rimstone Library where you will find Professor Barrie. Say quest to him to start the Fairy Tales quest. He will send you to Professor Carroll.

Professor Carroll can be found at the Traveler's Inn by the Bifrost Bridge. The Bridge can be found along the North side of Bogmoor Swamps and the Inn is nearby. Talk to Carroll and he will give you a book explaining what you need to collect as he is too busy or absent-minded to figure it out himself. You have the choice of finding the locations yourself or by chanting the spell, litero spellicus. The first time you use the spell, you will be automatically teleported to the area. If you need to go back, you will have to find your own way. Find and defeat the monster, loot the item from the corpse. When you have all 3, return to Carroll.

• If the monster is not there, chant the spell again. It will ensure the monster has spawned for you.
• The special items you need only last 3 days so return promptly.
• If you lose one of the items, chant the spell and it will ensure the monster has spawned for you to kill.

Return to Barrie with the items and drop them on him one at a time.

Part 2

Barrie will explain that you will have to enter the book to help the main character. You will have your choice of three books. You only need to do ONE book. The books are located in the display case.

Peter Pan

You will travel to Neverland and help Peter Pan. Peter informs you he needs help defeating Mr Fiend, who is working for Captain Hook. Fight your way through the pirates, kill Mr Fiend and take his head. There is a 20% chance he will also drop Hook's Hook, a special item you can use for deco or part 3. Take the head back to Peter and you can claim a reward.

Sleeping Beauty

Sleeping Beauty is worried that Prince Charming cannot win the fight against the Fiendly Knight who has been sent by Maleficent. The Fiendly Knight is preparing for his next fight. Travel through the castle and slay him and bring his head back to Sleeping Beauty. There is a 20% chance he will also drop Maleficent's Flames, a special item you can use for deco or part 3. Claim your reward from Sleeping Beauty.

Dorian Gray

You will find yourself with Basil, who is a manservant of the immortal Dorian Gray. This one is a bit tricky. Dorian cannot be defeated until The Painter is killed. Dorian also cannot be defeated unless you put his painting on the ground which weakens him. You will receive the painting from Basil. The painting cannot be used for deco as it only lasts 3 days. Find Dorian and kill him, take his head and return to Basil for your reward. Dorian also has a 20% chance to drop a replica painting.

Part 3 (Optional)

If you collect Hook's Hook, Maleficent's Flames and Dorian's Painting, you can hand in all 3 for a special prize from Barrie. In addition to tickets, you may also claim one of the following.

• Hook's Strapped Cutlass: 2-10 in your highest weapon skill.
• Princess Circlet: 2-10 in a random magic skill.
• Painter's Apron: 2-10 in a random ranger skill.
• 5 Sleeping Beauty's Wake Up Potions:Refreshes all your stats, ignores potion cooldown.
• 1 Big Wigs Foot: Relic with 10 uses that summons an army of vicious bunnies.
• 5 Schnozberry Elixers:Turns you into a Schnozberry Tree that does area of effect damage and gives +100 strength.
